I used this product on a regular basis and on the 2 month a blade broke and one week later the other broke off not well constructed.

The operation is a little bit odd as you have to have it on all the time and chunk ice into a too small compartment. Don't take the con wrong, it does a excellent job but would certainly work better if the holding area was larger and your fingers should be a little bit farther from the blades.
