the machine seems to work very well, the ice sticks together somewhat, like it's not quite cold enough. It was bigger than I expected..didn't really fit in my small kitchen, so it is in my laundry room. Really works fast!

We use this ice maker at our barbershop. It works well (makes ice), but not nearly as fast as they said. Instead of 6-12 minutes, it takes a good 2+ hours to fill up the tray. Otherwise, it's OK. I'd recommend this unit, but certainly only as a portable or secondary ice source.

My husband works outdoors performing construction in Kansas where the temperatures can rise to 100 degrees and higher, plus there can be high humidity. To keep cool and avoid problems such as heat exhaustion, he previously purchased bags of ice every morning on his way to the work site. The ice maker allows him to save money and time. The ice is made at home for much less than purchasing bags at a store, and it saves him the time of making a stop in the morning. The machine does require time and attention--pulling the ice out of the machine and bagging it. However, the ice-making process seems to work quickly and in the evening he can make enough ice for the next day while relaxing.

We bought a top of the line refrigerator that doesn't produce enough ice. This maker really cranks out the cubes. My only complaint is that it's a little large for something I'd consider "portable." I'm a small gal, and it really is kind of big to be taking from home to RV, etc. If you have the counter space, it's perfect!It is sort of large for the kitchen counter.

This unit works great. Makes ice very quickly and quietly as well. The only problem I had was the "add water light" would come on when there was water in the machine. All I would do is cycle the power on and off and it would start working again. A few times I would have to unplug it but would start once again. Minor problems but easy to take care of. I found it important to empty the ice as soon as it is made so it doesn't stick together. This might be remedied by letting the interior get cold before beginning to make ice, but I never have that much time. Performs wonderfully, exactly as its description said it does. Emptying the drain didn't seem to be a problem as some have said.

We use the ice maker in a small bar in our game room. Machine operates completely as advertised..large cubes in about 10 minutes. It is a little heavy to be "portable". Biggest draw back is the noise while it is in operation. I might suggest that the future models be equipped for hookup to a water line where permenant installation is desired, i.e. under a counter in a bar or kitchen.

The adjustable cube sizes and tube shape adapt to many uses that make the ice produced by this ice maker extremely versatile. Different drink glass shapes, serving dishes for chilling shrimp and other foods and more easily crushed.

The marvel is the speed with which it produces the ice cubes. 8 minutes versus 120 minutes in the freezer or 30 minutes round trip to the convenience store. We never run out of ice for parties.

I make flavored and different colored ice cubes for drinks to add that extra touch.

Simple and quick to drain and clean.

I love how quick it is when you need ice. In as little as 3 minutes. When its time to clean it though, you really have to get into the parts and clean it which is hard to do...

Really great icemaker, it is fast (about 10 minutes) to make a small batch of ice. It takes up very little space and just works. Have been able to free up considerable space in the freezer. No issues at all.

we needed 15 t0 25 Lbs of ice a day for about 7 or 8 months after my wifes operation and the unit worked will we never were out of ice
