It works very well. It makes ice very fast but when it is full it shuts off and the ice melts. When I purchased it I did not understand that it only makes ice and would not maintain the ice as a freezer would.

I tried to use this in an office of 5 people. Only two of us used this, so it wasn't required to produce a lot of ice. But, it rarely produced ice. It would just shut itself down and remain that way. Finally it would not even start up again. [...]
