This one is a replacement for another brand which was good but nearly as heavy duty as the T-2M. I am especially pleased that you can use it stand alone and add your own water or connect a water line for heavier duty use. The appearance is great and looks good in our kitchen. The ice is made quickly and the fact that you can remove the drawers to clean them is fantastic. We use RO water but due to handling, opening and closing of drawers...dirt does creep in and this is so easy to clean.
I have and will keep recommending this to everyone.

We use this to augment the poor ice maker in our Samsung French Door Refridgerator that has an ice maker in the refridgerator section, rather than the freezer (very bad idea from Samsung).
this Wyntner unit works very well and it looks great as well! It is very well made with tight fitting ice and water drawers. So far we like it very much and would highly recommend it!

Have it set up in my bar and use it only when we have company. It produces ice very quickly and can keep up to moderate demand. It is a bit of a pain to shut down with emptying and drying off. Wouldn't recommend it for heavy use. However it does the job I want and I am very pleased with it.
